PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shake correction device and an optical instrument that are able to reduce deterioration of shake correction accuracy.SOLUTION: A shake correction device 40 according to the present invention comprises: a holding member 42 holding a shake correction optical system L3; a support member 41 supporting the holding member 42 such that the holding member 42 is movable in a direction intersecting the optical axis of the shake correction optical system L3; three or more urging members 43 configured to urge the holding member 42 in different positions toward the support member 41; and drive means 45X and 45Y configured to move and drive the holding member 42 with respect to the support member 41. At least one of the urging members 43 is different from the other urging members 43 in the distance between the urged spot of the support member 41 and the gravity center of the holding member 42 including the shake correction optical system L3. In accordance with the distance between the urged spot of the support member 41 and the gravity center of the holding member 42 including the shake correction optical system L3, the urging force of each urging member 43 is set. |
