PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing the occurence of an image quality variation even when density correction processing is performed while an image having identity is continuously formed.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: acquiring means for acquiring information which indicates identify of a plurality of images; image forming means having a photoreceptor, a charging device, an exposing device, and a developing device for forming a plurality of images with an image density according to a predetermined density adjustment value; alternation means for alternating the density adjustment value; and control means for controlling the alternation means and the image forming means such that the density adjustment value is altered so that a ratio between a first potential difference which is the absolute value of the difference between charged potential and developing bias potential and a second potential difference which is the absolute value of the difference between the developing bias potential and exposing potential is kept constant when the density adjustment value is altered in a period in which a plurality of images having identity is continuously formed, and for forming an image with the image density according to the altered density adjustment value. |
