PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both of assuring a delay time range capable of equalization and tolerating to variation of transmission path simultaneously, when performing channel equalization for a multicarrier modulation signal modulated with a modified DFT modulation synthesis bank.SOLUTION: A modified DFT modulation synthesis bank 5 operates at a rate of virtually twice of a maximum decimation ratio, converts an equivalent baseband signal in time domain to a frequency domain signal, and generates a real part subchannel signal and an imaginary part subchannel signal. A channel equalizer 6 includes a real part equalizer 11 for equalizing the real part subchannel signal and an imaginary part equalizer 15 for equalizing the imaginary part subchannel signal. The real part equalizer 11 and the imaginary part equalizer 15 each include a symbol equalizer 41 for equalizing a main wave signal, an inter-symbol interference replica generation part 42 for generating a replica of an inter-symbol interference component, which are connected in parallel, and a subtractor 43 for subtracting a replica, generated by the inter-symbol interference replica generation part 42, from an equalized signal from the symbol equalizer 41. |
