PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present a user with a wider choice of information processing services and enable the user to more comfortably operate various kinds of devices.SOLUTION: A device has a description transmission unit which transmits device information in response to an acquisition request transmitted from another device with a protocol that permits network-connected devices to provide functions to each other by automatically associating the network-connected devices with respective identifiers to identify the devices. In the device information, information regarding the information processing services provided by the device itself is described as a prescribed tag in a format determined in advance as a format for describing services on Web pages. |
