PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for performing information notification processing effectively available under a situation of extremely high emergency in a display device and a personal digital assistant capable of receiving an emergency broadcasting.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal television 10 comprises an emergency handling section 30, a setting control section 40, a power source management section 60, a communication section 70 and a power source section 80. In the case where an emergency broadcast is included in broadcast waves received by a tuner 21 and further in the case where it is detected that a connected state between an external power source section 82 and an AC power source is cut off, the emergency handling section 30 determines that inevitability of an emergency status is high, and performs emergency communication processing. |
