PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector having a housing which does not require determination of its facing-up/down direction.SOLUTION: There is provided a connector 10 having a short housing 11 provided with a wide first opening 18 into which an opposite-side connection portion to be fitted is inserted on one surface, and with a second opening 19 which communicates with the first opening 18 on the other surface opposed to the one surface. The housing when arranged having the one surface on the front 12 and the wide first opening 18 in the horizontal direction is constituted bilaterally symmetrically about a plane 28 passing the center of the front 12 and vertically symmetrically about a plane 29 passing the center of the front 12 horizontally. |
