The driver unit (10) for sliding an automobile curtain in a curtain rail comprises a drive section (12) which is attached to a side of the guide section (13) of the driver elements (11, 11'). Independent claims are also included for (a) a curtain rail compatible with the proposed driver unit for automobile curtains (b) a device for slidable attachment of an automobile curtain to a curtain with use of the proposed driver unit (c) a drive system for the proposed driver unit.
