PURPOSE: A vector image drawing method and a device thereof are provided to efficiently draw vector objects and to increase the speed of image processing by reducing the load of a CPU operation. CONSTITUTION: A vector image drawing device comprises a first rendering unit (120), a second rendering unit (130), a caching unit (150), a control unit (110), a display unit (160), and a video memory (140). The first rendering unit performs image calculation by using a CPU resource, and generates data (texture) in a fixed area of the video memory which is generated by vector calculation. The video memory comprises a frame buffer in which data displayed in a real display unit exists, and an off-screen buffer corresponding to the area outside the frame buffer. The first rendering unit is allocated with at least part of an off-screen buffer to fit an object to be vector-calculated, and draws texture by performing vector calculation for a corresponding object. The second rendering unit displays the texture on the display unit by processing the texture, and the first caching unit stores the texture which is generated by the first rendering unit in a cache memory (151). The control unit determines the state change for each drawing object; re-generates the texture by controlling the first and the second rendering unit for a corresponding object which is changed by the result of determination; and displays the texture on the display unit.
