PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boundary design system that is free of an additional weight increase for interference prevention even when two or more wireless networks are in an aircraft.SOLUTION: An aircraft design system 104 comprising a component database 112 having designs 116 for components 118 configured for use in an aircraft 120, a material database 114 having materials 122 selected for desired types of wireless signal propagation 124, and a boundary designer 102. The boundary designer is configured to identify a configuration 154 for wireless networks 140 in the aircraft. The boundary designer is further configured to select the optional number of boundaries for the wireless networks that provide a desired propagation of wireless signals. The boundary designer is further configured to select a configuration 156 for the optional number of the components from the designs in the component database and select the optional number of materials for the optional number of the components to form the optional number of boundaries 155 for the wireless networks. |
