PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion power storage device with excellent safety and improved energy density and cycle characteristic by simply performing pre-doping without adding manufacturing processes, a manufacturing method thereof, and a regeneration method.SOLUTION: The lithium ion power storage device includes: a positive electrode having a positive electrode active substance containing a lithium-containing compound; and a negative electrode having a negative electrode active substance from and in which lithium ions can be removed and inserted, and a lithium-containing negative electrode additive having a discharge capacity at a discharge potential higher than an average discharge potential of the negative electrode active substance. During discharge after initial charging, over-discharging is performed. Furthermore, a method for manufacturing a lithium ion power storage device and a method for regenerating a lithium ion power storage device are provided. |
