PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game control device configured to increase the interest of a user in other users while avoiding frequent interactions with them, and to provide a game control method, a program, and a game system.SOLUTION: A game control device includes: an association means for associating users with each other; an acquiring means that acquires, before the start of an event in the real world, user selection information representing users selected by a first user from among users associated with the first user; and an adding means that adds a benefit to the first user, when determining that both the first user and the users selected by the first user are located in a place relating to the event within an event period. |
