PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic display device capable of improved flat display in a system not using spectacles.SOLUTION: A stereoscopic display device switchable to flat display includes a stereoscopic display element including a liquid crystal panel and capable of stereoscopic display without using spectacles, a selective scattering element disposed on the incident side or emission side of the liquid crystal panel and capable of selectively taking a transmission state or a scattering state, and a control circuit for controlling the stereoscopic display element and the selective scattering element. |
