PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polychloroprene composition enabling silane hydrocrosslinking by fully grafting a silane coupling agent containing a sulfur atom in the molecule to polychloroprene, and to provide an electric cable using the composition.SOLUTION: A polychloroprene composition is obtained by compounding together polychloroprene, a silane coupling agent containing a sulfur atom in the molecule, and a Cl-capping agent substituting a Cl atom in the polychloroprene molecule. An electric cable using the composition is also provided. |
