PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water closet capable of improving manufacturing efficiency of a toilet bowl body and suppressing manufacturing costs.SOLUTION: An inventive water closet 1 has a toilet bowl body 2 provided with a bowl-shaped bowl part 8 and a rim part 16 formed on an upper edge part of the bowl part. The rim part of the toilet bowl body is formed such that its lower end 16k and inner peripheral surface 17 rise almost vertically, and the bowl part of the toilet bowl body is formed such that its upper end 8a rises almost vertically. The toilet bowl body consisting of the rim part and the bowl part can be manufactured by any one of the following processes: a separate manufacturing process in which after the rim part and the bowl part are separately molded and then the lower end of the rim part and the upper end of the bowl part are bonded together to manufacture the toilet bowl body; and an integrated manufacturing process in which the toilet bowl body is manufactured by the integrally molded rim part and bowl part. |
