[Problem] To provide a base film for liquid pressure transfer, whereby curling when floated on a liquid surface can be adequately prevented, and a liquid pressure transfer film can be formed having excellent transfer efficiency, and to provide a liquid pressure transfer film formed from the base film for liquid pressure transfer, and a liquid pressure transfer method using the liquid pressure transfer film. [Solution] A base film (1) for liquid pressure transfer, having a linear cut in an end part (3); a liquid pressure transfer film obtained by printing on a surface of the base film (1) for liquid pressure transfer; and a liquid pressure transfer method having a step for floating the liquid pressure transfer film on a liquid surface with the printed surface of the liquid pressure transfer film facing upward, and a step for pressing a transfer medium against the floating liquid pressure transfer film from above.
