PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anthracene derivative suitable for use for organic electroluminescent elements, and an organic electroluminescent element including the anthracene derivative.SOLUTION: A phenylanthracene derivative includes two phenylanthracen groups expressed by representative chemical compounds of the formula, the phenylanthracene group having 5-20 aromatic groups, and is produced through bonding by an aryl group or a heteroaryl group. An organic electroluminescent element includes the phenylanthracene derivative. |
