PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of transferring a toner image onto a long sheet, the device preventing an image defect due to toner deterioration from occurring.SOLUTION: When an image forming apparatus subjects a long sheet to print processing, a linear velocity D of a photoreceptor drum 321 is set to be low, a ratio S/D of a linear velocity S of a developing roller 83 to the linear velocity D is set to be large, and a linear velocity M of a magnetic roller 82 is set to be low as compared with transfer processing to a fixed form sheet. The thickness of a toner layer TL carried by a developing roller 83 is set to be thinner for the long sheet rather than for the fixed form sheet. Thereby, the layer thickness of the toner layer TL carried by the developing roller 83 can be reduced to decrease toner remaining on a peripheral surface 83A. The reduced amount of layer thickness of the toner layer TL is covered by an increase in a toner supply amount due to an increase in a S/D value. |
