PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-cycle engine capable of suitably suppressing blow-bye.SOLUTION: Two vortex-like (inverted vortex-like) working gas layers are formed by a pair of suction-side scavenging holes 5a and 5b, and one vortex-like (swirl-like) nonworking gas layer is formed by a pair of exhaust-side scavenging holes 6a and 6b which are formed on a side of an exhaust hole 4 closer to the pair of suction-side scavenging holes 5a and 5b. Thus, release of a working gas from the exhaust hole 4 is suppressed by the nonworking gas layer which is formed on the side of the exhaust hole 4. In addition, the inverted vortex-like working gas layer and the swirl-like nonworking gas layer are formed as different flows as above to be hardly mixed together. This restrains the working gas is restrained from being released from the exhaust hole 4 together with a nonworking gas by being mixed with the nonworking gas. Consequently, blow-bye can be suitably suppressed. |
