PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an apparatus or piping equipment from plugging due to firmly adhered matter by suppressing adhesion and deposition of a polymer or high boiling byproducts in a column, generated during a distillation stage or collection stage of (meth)acrylic acid or (meth)acrylic acid ester.SOLUTION: A silicone-based release agent is coated on members in a distillation column or collection column of (meth)acrylic acid or (meth)acrylic acid ester. By virtue of mold releasing effects of the silicone-based mold releasing agent, the product can be discharged in a state of relatively small granular matter without adhering a polymer or high boiling byproducts in the column.
