摘要 [Problem] To elucidate the correlation between the amounts of amino acid stereoisomers or the change in the amounts and diseases by carrying out the total analysis of the amino acid stereoisomers to thereby develop a novel disease diagnosis method and a novel disease diagnosis device for performing the disease diagnosis method. [Solution] A disease sample analysis device according to the present invention comprises: a means for separating and quantifying an amino acid stereoisomer in a biological material from a subject; a means for substituting the amount of the amino acid stereoisomer into a determination equation to calculate the amount, thereby obtaining a clinical condition index value; and a means for outputting information on the clinical condition of the patient on the basis of the clinical condition index value. One embodiment of the determination equation is as follows: (a clinical condition index value) = (a measurement value for an amino acid stereoisomer correlated with the disease among the measurement values in a biological material from the subject)/(a reference value in a biological material from a normal person). A disease sample analysis method according to the present invention comprises: a step of measuring the amount of an amino acid stereoisomer in a biological material from a subject; a step of substituting the amount of the amino acid stereoisomer into a determination equation to calculate the amount, thereby obtaining a clinical condition index value; and so on.
