The device has a steam generator (1) connected with a steam generating outlet nozzle (4) over a steam line (17). The steam outlet nozzle of the steam line is attached in a catchment area region of a suction line. The suction line produces suction of dissipation of vapor clouds into a vapor cloud condensation chamber. An electrical terminal of the steam line and a bypass line is connectable with a terminal of a voltage source for electrically charging a vapor wiper. A hand gun (3) comprises a suction spout (6) that is connected with a suction line. The steam line or the bypass line is designed as an electrode for connection of a pole of a direct current (DC) power source.
