The unit has an anti-noise generator unit structurally integrated as a modular structure in a region of a drive assembly e.g. turbo propeller and jet engine, and/or a missile. An on-board computer stores real operating and flying conditions i.e. sound intensity characteristic fields, as a function of diverse operating parameters. Sensors (15a) i.e. microphones, observe a real sound level progress behind the drive assembly. The on-board computer calculates a required phase displacement so that sound generators (15b) i.e. loudspeakers, generate a compensatingly acting sound spectrum.
