A backlight module structure and a liquid crystal display device. The backlight module structure comprises a front frame (1) and a back cover (7) cooperating with each other, and an intermediate frame (3) and a light guide plate (5) that are provided between the front frame (1) and the back cover (7). The intermediate frame (3) is made of an elastic material. The light guide plate (5) is fixed by tightly cooperating with the intermediate frame (3). The liquid crystal display device has the backlight module structure, so that the cost can be reduced and the reliability can be improved.
