An organic electroluminescent display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent the inflow of the gas and moisture by surrounding the top and the lower plate attached by the seal line with the capsule film. An organic electroluminescent display device comprises a first substrate(130) and a second substrate(110). An organic electroluminescent layer(320) is formed on the first substrate. A thin film transistor is formed on the second substrate. The first substrate and the second substrate are attached to each other by a seal line(600). A capsule film(650) surrounds the front side of the attached first and second substrate, and the whole perimeter of the side and backplane. |
