PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce electricity consumption while considering convenience of electric devices in the case where predicted power supply is below predicted demand.SOLUTION: Adapters 50 provided between an outlet socket 9 and an electric device 8 are prioritized beforehand. In the case where power supply lack is predicted from a supply prediction value and a demand prediction value, a management server 30 requests power saving to a power demand side by transmitting power saving request information including a power saving target to a power control apparatus. The power control apparatus refers to the priorities set to the adapters 50 and electric power consumption in each of the adapters 50 in response to a power saving request, determines the adapter 50 to stop power supply thereto in order to achieving the power saving target, and notifies the determined priority to the adapters 50. Each of the adapters 50 stops supplying power to the electric device 8 connected thereto during a time zone subjected to power saving in the case where a priority lower than the notified priority is set to the adapter per se.
