The invention relates to a white water collection system of a sheet forming device for producing a multi-layer fibrous material web, in particular paper, cardboard or tissue web, comprising at least two formers (2R,2M2,2M1,2D) which can each be supplied via a headbox (1R,1M2,1M1,1D) with material flows for producing a fibrous material web layer and a couch zone disposed downstream of the formers (2R,2M2,2M1,2D) for couching the fibrous material web layers and white water collection devices (R,M,M3,M2,M1,D) associated with the formers (2R,2M2,2M1,2D) collection of the white water produced during the layer formation. To this end the cost of collecting different white water qualities should be reduced in that at least one white water collection device (R,M1,M3) has an overflow which directs excess white water into a white water collection device (M,M2) of another former (2M2).
