METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF HOLLOW ELEMENTS, HOLLOW ELEMENT AND PROGRESSIVE COMPOSITE TOOL

The method involves cutting individual units from a profile (1) in form of a profiled bar/ reel. A bar between a base of a cylindrical cavity and a base of a hollow cylindrical lug is punched to design continuous holes. The lug is squeezed and/or leveled at its free front end to form a punching section. Hollow body units are provided with a thread and are separated from the profile. The hollow body units are made of sheet metal. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) an assembling component having a hollow body unit (B) a progression tool for manufacturing a hollow body unit.
