PURPOSE: A dual bearing reel is provided to prevent a rotating member from being separated from a first side plate by regulating the misorientation of a rotating member with a second rotation limiting unit in a state in which the engagement direction movement of the rotating member is regulated by a first rotation limiting unit. CONSTITUTION: A dual bearing reel comprises a reel body (1), a spool (12), a steering wheel, a rotating member (13), a first rotation limiting unit (101) and a second rotation limiting unit (102). The spool is rotatably arranged about a first side plate (8) and a second side plate in a space between the first side plate and second side plate of the reel body and winds a fishing line. The steering wheel is installed at the second side plate and rotates the spool. The rotating member matches an engagement part (13b) with an engaged part or separates the engagement part from the engaged part by rotating the rotating member to an engagement direction or a separation direction and is detachably mounted on the first side plate. The first rotating member regulates the engagement direction movement of the rotating member. The second rotating member regulates the separation direction movement of the rotating member in a state in which the engagement direction movement of the rotation member is regulated by the first rotation limiting unit. |
