<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a modified PTEF frame shaped molded article having high joining strength and high air tightness by which the modified PTEF frame shaped molded article is manufactured using a simple equipment and implements without using large-sized equipment and material loss in post processing is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The modified PTFE resin is molded into a sheet like molded article, the sheet like molded article is fired to obtain a modified PTFE resin sheet fired body, the fired sheet is cut down into a plurality of strip shaped materials constituting a part of the desired frame shaped molded article, end surfaces of the strip shaped materials are joined to each other and are set in a mold to surround the left, right, top and bottom part, so that the strip shaped materials are brought into a constraint state, the strip shaped material joined in the end surfaces each other are also brought into the constraint state in the length direction and the vicinity of the joined parts of the strip shaped material is heated by a heater mounted on the mold surrounding the strip shaped material to fuse and join the end faces of the strip shaped materials to each other and the vicinity of the jointed parts is cooled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
