<p>The apparatus has a case (10) including a concave shaped plate (12) forming a treatment surface for interior hair. Another case (20) includes a longitudinal chuck forming another treatment surface for hair to be heated by an electric heating unit. The chuck is freely rotated around its longitudinal axis and approximately of same radius as that of the plate. The cases are connected in swiveling manner by a hinge (30) to define an open and closed position apparatus. The plate covers the chuck in a closed position according to a covering angle ranging between 160 and 190 degrees. An independent claim is also included for a method for using a hairstyling heater apparatus.</p>
