PURPOSE: An air conditioner for a vehicle is provided to control airflow rate by an airflow control door. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner for a vehicle comprises an air conditioning case(110), an evaporator(101), an electronic heater(102), a blower(103), a barrier(142), and an airflow control door(130). The air conditioning case comprises an air inlet(111), multiple air outlets(120) consisting of a defrost vent(121), a face vent(122), and a floor vent(123), and an air passage. The evaporator and the electric heater are successively installed on the air passage. The blower is installed in the air inlet side of the air conditioning case and blows air into the air conditioning case. The barrier divides the inside of the air conditioning case into left and right sides. The airflow control door is installed between the rear side of the electric heater and the barrier to individually control airflow of a driver seat and a passenger seat. |
