PURPOSE: A method for controlling the installation of a mobile terminal, a mobile terminal using the same, and an application providing server are provided to set the other application required to optimize an application and the driving environment of a mobile terminal at a time by only executing a package, thereby causing a user who has a lack of skill at using the mobile terminal to easily use the application. CONSTITUTION: An application providing server sets, as main content, the application that is driven by installed in a mobile terminal (S10). The server selects at least one of environment control information and sub content from an application server to use the main content (S20). In a case where the environment control information is selected, the server generates an environment configuration file according to the environment control information (S30). The server generates a package in which the main content and at least one of the sub content and the environment configuration file are coupled, and transfers the generated package to the mobile terminal (S40,S50).
