PURPOSE: The ink transfer logic of a roll-to-roll gravure printing process is provided to optimally match the surface energy of a web and the surface tension of ink by optimally setting the surface energy of the web and the surface tension of the ink. CONSTITUTION: A method for optimally setting the surface energy of a web and the surface tension of ink includes the following steps of: measuring a shape of roll patterns (S10); measuring the surface energy of the roll patterns, the surface energy of a web, and the surface tension of the ink (S20); setting the optimal web surface energy satisfying a condition in which a diffusion coefficient is larger than 0 or an adhesive difference indicated with a difference of adhering forces between the web and the ink and between the ink and the roll patterns (S60); calculating the diffusion coefficient by using the determined surface tension of the ink and the surface energy of the web (S70); and determining the optimal ink surface tension satisfying a condition in which calculated diffusion coefficient is 0 or closed to 0. |
