<p>PURPOSE: An LED driving circuit is provided to reduce the size and weight of the LED driving circuit by directly driving an LED with a utility AC voltage without using an SMPS. CONSTITUTION: A rectifier (20) rectifies an AC voltage from a utility AC voltage into a DC voltage. A current commutator (30) applies the DC voltage from the rectifier to a power supply unit. An output controller (60) controls the current which is supplied from the power supply unit to an LED. A current controller (50) controls the current which is supplied to the output controller.
