The present invention relates to a home appliance diagnosis system and to a method for operating same, wherein product information is output in a predetermined signal sound by a home appliance product, and the signal sound is transmitted via a communication network connected to a remote service center to enable the service center to easily check the state of the home appliance product. In addition, the product information is encoded into a predetermined format and modulated to enable sound to be outputted by the home appliance product, thereby preventing noise or signal errors. The present invention enables stable signal moudlation and accurate sound output, and enables the easy recovery of the sound transmitted to the service center via the communication network. |
