PURPOSE: A trap for a drainpipe is provided to prevent the inflow of harmful gas, bad odor, and harmful insects through the drainpipe by being conveniently installed in a small sized drainpipe as a small installation space is required. CONSTITUTION: A trap for a drainpipe comprises an inlet pipe (102), a discharge pipe (103), an opening and closing unit, a floating ball (120), a floating ball hanging protrusion, and a lid (104). The inlet pipe and the discharge pipe are formed on both sides of a housing. The opening and closing unit is formed on both sides of a body and includes a slider, an outlet (115), and an inlet. A slide groove is formed on the inner side of the housing, and the slider is fixated by being inserted. The floating ball is mounted on the inside of the body of the opening and closing unit, and the floating ball hanging protrusion is formed on the inner side of the body. |
