<p>PURPOSE: An energy saving system using the waste heat of a ship is provided to collect the waste heat thrown away from the ship and to produce electric energy with the collected waste heat. CONSTITUTION: An energy saving system using the waste heat of a ship comprises a medium and low temperature waste heat recovery device, a cooling water circulating system, and a cooling water circulating system for an electric heater. The medium and low temperature waste heat recovery device is operated by working fluid that is an organic refrigerant having a lower boiling temperature than water. The cooling water circulating system has a main passage(12) for cooling an engine(10). The cooling water circulating system for the electric heater transfers heat source provided from the cooling water circulating system to the medium and low temperature waste heat recovery device. The organic refrigerant of the medium and low temperature heat waste recovery device is evaporated by the heat source of engine cooling water so that electricity can be produced.</p> |
