FIELD: packaging industry.SUBSTANCE: in the method the wrapping is formed by folding a sheet of wrapping material around the article to form a pair of opposing substantially parallel protruding valves which are aligned and sealed to form a tubular wrapping with open ends and a first sealing valve protruding outwards across the wrapper which is folded towards its outer surface. At least one of the open ends of the wrapper is deformed by the pulling device for forming two opposing valves and they are clamped and sealed to form closed end parts and a second sealing valve protruding from the end part and forming the end part seam. Then the second valve is bent to the end part, at that its two folding valves protrude aside from the end part on its opposite sides and each bent valve is folded to the end part. The machine for implementing the method comprises the first folding device for folding the sheet in a U-shape around the article to form two pairs of opposing substantially parallel protruding valves on each free side of the article, the first sealing device for aligning and sealing the valves in a pair for forming a tubular wrapping with open ends, and a first sealing valve protruding outwards across the wrapper. The machine also comprises the second folding device for folding the first valve to the outer surface of the sheet and a second sealing device for sealing the open ends and at least one pulling device to deform at least one of the open ends of the wrapping to form two opposing valves. And the second sealing device clamps and seals the opposing valves to form a closed end part and a second sealing valve, protruding from the end part and forming the end part seam. The machine also comprises a third folding device for folding the second valve on the corresponding end part, consequently two folding valves protrude aside on the opposite sides of the end part, and for folding each folded valve on the end part. The pack comprises the article and sealed wrapping folded around the article and composed of two large side and two small side parts extending transversely to the large side parts, and two end parts extending transversely to the large and small side parts. The wrapping also contains the first seam on one of the large side parts and the second seams extending transversely the first seam and each located near the corresponding end part. At that the first seam comprises a first sealing valve folded to the corresponding large side part and each second seam comprises the second sealing valve folded to the corresponding end part.EFFECT: group of inventions provides simplification and improvement of quality of wrapping.18 cl, 17 dwg |
