The device (20) has a coupling unit or U-shaped electrode that is adapted to be arranged adjacent to a radiating part of an antenna of a wireless network adapter. Another coupling unit or electrical ground plane is adapted to be arranged close to the radiating part of the antenna of the wireless network adapter. A reception device receives a transmission line i.e. coaxial cable (30), such that an internal conductor of the cable is in electrical contact with the electrode, and an external conductor of the cable is in electrical contact with the ground plane.
