PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which can avoid damage of a fixing roller.SOLUTION: An image forming device 100 comprises: a fixing unit 161 fixing a toner image on a paper sheet S by heating and pressurizing the paper sheet S on which the toner image is formed with a fixing nip unit; a rocking unit 180 making the fixing unit 161 rock in a direction which is vertical for a paper sheet conveyance direction and crossing the transported paper sheet S; and a control unit 200 controlling the rocking unit 180 to move the fixing unit 161 to a home position when the temperature of the fixing unit 161 is lower than a predetermined temperature in warm-up of the fixing unit 161. When the fixing unit 161 is warm, the fixing unit 161 is not moved to the home position because fixing defectiveness of the toner image does not occur in an end area of the paper sheet S. |
