PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent optical waveguide-forming epoxy resin composition as an optical waveguide-forming material, particularly as a cladding layer-forming material, which exhibits high Tg, high flexibility and excellent patternability.SOLUTION: An optical waveguide-forming epoxy resin composition is provided, comprising: (A) a liquid epoxy resin; (B) a solid resin; and (C) a photoacid generator. The liquid epoxy resin (A) comprises a liquid epoxy resin represented by a specific general formula as a major component thereof whose content is 50 to 80 wt.% relative to the total amount of the resin components. |
