PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device of a type in which emission light from a plurality of light emitting diodes is guided without using a light guide plate and is emitted, capable of attaining uniform illuminance over a wide region and reducing luminance difference due to occurrence of hot spots.SOLUTION: An illumination device 10 includes: a light source unit 20 having a plurality of LEDs 14 arranged in a linear form; a light-emergent face 23 extending to one side from the vicinity of an area straightly under the light source unit 20; and a first reflective body 12 extending to the same side to which the light-emergent face 23 extends from the vicinity of an area straightly over the light source unit 20. Here, the first reflective body 12 has a first reflection face 22 configured to get close to the light-emergent face 23 as the first reflective body 12 extends from the vicinity of an area straightly over the light source unit 20, and the light source unit 20 is provided such that an optical axis q of the LED 14 is inclined to the first reflective face 22 side with respect to a direction parallel to the light-emergent face 23. |
