PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifying apparatus and a method of generating a wet air flow.SOLUTION: A humidifying apparatus includes a nozzle and a base attached with it. The nozzle includes a first air inlet, a first air outlet, and a first interior passage for conveying air from the first air inlet to the first air outlet, and further includes a second air inlet, a plurality of second air outlets, and a second interior passage for conveying air from the second air inlet to the second air outlet. A bore is formed through which the air from the outside of the humidifying apparatus is drawn into the air emitted from the nozzle. A body includes a motor, an impeller unit, and a water reservoir for generating a first air flow that passes the first interior passage and a second air flow that passes the second interior passage. The first air passage conveys the first air flow to the first air inlet and the second air passage conveys the second air flow to the second sir inlet above the water in the reservoir. The water in the reservoir is agitated when the second air flow passes above the reservoir. An ultraviolet ray generator radiates the agitated water for a certain period before humidity of the second air flow rises by atomizing the water of the reservoir. |
