<p>An apparatus includes an emitter unit configured to irradiate an object under observation with a terahertz wave, a receiver unit configured to receive a reflected terahertz wave returning from the object under observation, and a data processing unit configured to calculate a propagation time period spent in a propagation of the terahertz wave from the emitter unit to the receiver unit based on a signal received by the receiver unit and calculate a location of an abnormal tissue in the object under observation based on the propagation time period.</p> |
