PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery capable of improving cycle durability.SOLUTION: A secondary battery 10 includes: a positive electrode 140 including a positive electrode active material layer 141; a negative electrode 150 including a negative electrode active material layer 151; and a separator 160 disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. The secondary battery of the present invention also includes adhesive layers 170 and 180 disposed at least one of between the positive electrode and the separator and between the negative electrode and the separator, and bonding the separator with at least one of the positive electrode and the negative electrode. In the secondary battery of the present invention, a proportion of an area where the adhesive layers are brought into contact with at least one of the positive electrode active material layer and the negative electrode active material layer is different in between a range where the positive electrode active material layer and the negative electrode active material layer overlap and a range where both layers does not overlap, as viewed from the thickness direction of the active material layers. |
