摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high purity ferritic stainless steel fine wire (wire diameter≤0.5 mm) having excellent soft magnetism and an inexpensive production method, and to dramatically inexpensively provide a product whose quality is more stabilized than that of the conventional high corrosion resistant and soft magnetic fine wires.SOLUTION: A soft magnetic stainless steel fine wire includes, by mass, ≤0.03% C, ≤1.0% Si, ≤1.0% Mn, ≤0.04% P, ≤0.02% S, ≤1.0% Ni, 9.0 to 17.0% Cr, ≤1.5% Al, ≤0.01% O and ≤0.03% N, and further includes one or more selected from 0.05 to 1.0% Nb, 0.05 to 1.0% Ti, 0.05 to 1.0% V, 0.05 to 1.0% W, 0.05 to 1.0% Ta, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities. The soft magnetic stainless steel fine wire has a ferrite single phase structure, has a wire diameter of 0.05 to 0.5 mm, has the average crystal grain size of 0.1 to 0.8 time of the wire diameter, and has the maximum relative permeability of ≥800. If required, the soft magnetic stainless steel fine wire includes one or more kinds selected from, by weight, ≤2.5% Mo, 0.0001 to 0.01% B, ≤1.0% Cu, ≤1.0% Co, 0.0005 to 0.01% Ca, 0.0005 to 0.01% Mg and 0.0005 to 0.05% REM. Further, in a production method, final strand annealing at 900 to 1,200°C for 5 to 60 s is performed after final wire drawing.
