PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophoretic dispersion liquid eliminating any necessity of chemically connecting polymer on the surface of color particles or forming a coating layer thereon, and facilitating control of an electrostatic propensity of the color particles, and to provide a method for producing the same, a microcapsule using the electrophoretic dispersion liquid, and an electrophoretic display device.SOLUTION: The electrophoretic dispersion liquid including color particles and an organic solvent further includes at least one type of charge control agent selected from a group consisting of oxazoline group-containing polymer and silanol group-containing polymer, and the organic solvent is a nonpolar organic solvent. The method for manufacturing the same, the microcapsule using the electrophoretic dispersion liquid and the electrophoretic display device are also disclosed. |
