PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device capable of firmly folding a paper bundle, without causing toner tacking.SOLUTION: A postprocessing device FS includes heating folding rollers 52 and 53 having heating mechanisms 5a2 and 53a, paper ejecting rollers 54 and 55 arranged downstream of the heating folding rollers in the carrying direction of a sheet, and a control mechanism for controlling driving mechanisms for respectively driving the respective rollers. Folding processing to the paper bundle constituted of a plurality of sheets is performed by heating and rotating the heating folding rollers by the control mechanism, and after the folding processing, processing for cooling the paper bundle by stopping carrying after carrying the paper bundle up to a position sandwiched by the paper ejecting rollers in a state of not warming a place of having the possibility of causing toner tacking by the heating folding rollers by rotating the heating folding rollers is performed. Paper is ejected after cooling. |
