PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simulation apparatus of an interlayer peel progress in a composite material capable of improving simulation accuracy, and to provide a simulation method of an interlayer peel progress in a composite material.SOLUTION: A simulation apparatus 1 of an interlayer peel progress in a composite material calculates an energy release rate at an interlayer peel tip end of a FEM analysis model of a composite material by an FEM, compares the calculation result with a prestored fracture toughness value corresponding to the composite material, and simulates a progress in the interlayer peel of the composite material.
