<p>The invention addresses the problem of providing an inkjet printing device capable of preventing the smearing of and drying completely the ink impacting the printing medium even when using an ink that is difficult to dry such as ink obtained from an aqueous ink vehicle comprising latex as the binder resin. As a solution, this inkjet printing device (1), which prints on a printing medium (2) using an ink obtained from an aqueous ink vehicle comprising latex as the binder resin, comprises a carriage (14) on which a print head (13) that discharges ink droplets on the printing medium (2) is loaded and which moves with respect to the printing medium (2). An infrared heater (31), which is disposed to face the printing medium (2) and heats said printing medium (2), is loaded on the carriage (14), and said infrared heater (31) is disposed at a distance from the print head (13) in the direction of movement of the printing medium (2) (x-direction).</p> |
